hi, i’m seren
certified yoga instructor, Ayurvedic wellness counselor, and somatic guide
I believe passionately in the brilliance of the body and the timeless guidance of the natural world. I help women reconnect to themselves, their aliveness, and their unique magic by tuning into these original sources of wisdom.
I have devoted the last 25 years to the study and exploration of yoga, Ayurveda, and the healing arts. I believe that deepening our relationship with our wise wild bodies and learning to trust ourselves is an essential part of healing the planet and ushering in a more kind and beautiful world.
Whether you’re seeking time and space to slow down, self-care practices you’ll actually enjoy doing, or to simply feel more at home in your skin, I am here to hold, guide, and support your journey.

Ever since I was a child, I found refuge in my body. Whether tromping through the woods, dancing in my backyard, or training for climbing competitions, my body was my happy place.
But somewhere along the way the natural joy of embodiment was replaced by angst. As a young athlete, I became obsessed with being thin and light, and experienced years of body dismorphia that left me feeling constantly uncomfortable in my own skin.
Eventually I discovered yoga, a practice that restored a feeling of power, peace, and delight in the experience of being in my body. But over time, even my yoga practice became less about my internal experience and more about proper physical alignment and the perfection of poses. Less about inner well-being, more about doing it “right.”
I walked away from teaching yoga and stopped practicing altogether. I dove deeper into the study and practice of Ayurveda, spent more time outside learning from nature, and started dancing as a daily practice. I began to find my way back to myself, my belonging within nature’s cycles, and the feeling of delight in my own body’s movements.
And then again things changed, as they do, and I went from walking the earth each day to working full-time on a computer. I slowly gave myself over to the grind and lost my connection to myself. It happened so slowly it was almost imperceptible. But after years of sitting behind the screen, overusing my brain and underusing my body, I found myself burned-out, exhausted, depleted, and battling a barrage of physical symptoms.
When it all became too much, I quit my job. I didn’t have a plan, but I knew I couldn’t keep doing what I was doing. This was when things began to change. I had time to be in nature and to do the Ayurvedic practices I had been studying for years. I began to dance more often. To garden, play, and make art. To follow pleasure, create beauty, and rediscover magic.
When I chose myself and my aliveness, everything shifted. Life went from feeling dull and exhausting to vibrant, rich, and full of mystery. My body began to heal and feel again like a place of refuge and delight. I cultivated a stronger connection with my intuition, my inner compass, my yes’s and my no’s. I started to deeply trust myself and the magical unfolding of my life. And I felt a calling to help other women do the same—to reconnect to themselves, their bodies, and the lives that feel beautifully, wildly their own.
So here I am, still on the journey, riding all the beautifully human highs and lows, ups and downs, and ebbs and flows. I know better than to think I have anything figured out, but I am anchored in a loving connection to my body and a deep trust in the mystery and magic of life. At least most of the time. And this my dear, is what I want for you as well.

I hold a gentle and judgement-free space where you are welcome to simply BE, exactly as you are. I use a variety of tools including yoga and movement practices, Ayurvedic self-care, somatic coaching, biodynamic craniosacral therapy, and deep listening and presence.
I am not here to fix what’s “wrong,” encourage performative wellness, feed your perfectionism, or tell you what’s right for YOU. Instead, I act as a loving guide, ally, and cheerleader as you cultivate a connection with your own wise inner healer and unfurl into a more relaxed, true, and human version of yourself. We will implement practices that are simple, pleasurable, and completely doable within the confines of your life situation, so that you can experience a healing journey that feels like a nourishing delight rather than another to-do list.

values & guiding principles
✷
connection to nature
We live in time of unprecedented disconnection and numbing. Reweaving our relationship with the natural world is essential for human and nonhuman thriving.
✷
pleasure & play
We are here to offer beauty to the world. When we connect to pleasure and a sense of play, our creative magic flows through with greater ease.
✷
body as sacred
Our bodies are literally made of stardust. Our bones speak to the earth, our hearts extend beyond us, our wombs create life. Your body is holy, wild, and wise.
✷
trust in life
True aliveness means saying yes to the full range of wild, messy humanness. Deep pain, exquisite beauty, and everything in between. May we learn to trust it all.
